What are your payment options?
ReddWebDev Internet Web Hosting accepts orders online. Orders can be paid for by Mastercard or Visa via PayPal. Hosting is billed annually (12 months). You will be notified via email 30 days before the web hosting account is set to expire .. after which you may, at anytime during that 30 day period, purchase more time for your account.
I would like to pay by check. Do you accept checks?
ReddWebDev Internet Web Hosting will only accept checks from accounts that originate in or are drawn on banks in the State of Montana. Furthermore, we only accept checks for accounts that are billed annually. If you are located in Montana and would like to make arrangements to pay by check please Contact Us.
What will the billing look like on my credit card?
When you make payment for your internet web hosting, it will be processed through PayPal, and the billing invoice will read, “REDDWEBDEV”.
ReddWebDev Internet Web Hosting is not local to my area. Can I still host my internet website with you?
Yes, ReddWebDev Internet Web Hosting servers are located in a World Class Data Center. This means that no matter where you are located, you will be able to quickly access and make updates to your internet web hosting account from any location in the world. ReddWebDev Internet Web Hosting is located in Great Falls, Montana, but because of the quality our services and commitment to customer support we have customers in nearly every part of the United States and Canada.
How long will it take for ReddWebDev Internet Web Hosting to set up my new hosting account?
During our normal business hours (9AM – 5PM PST Monday thru Friday) new accounts are created within 20 minutes upon confirmation of payment. During weekend and off-hours, accounts are usually created within 6 to 8 hours. Once your account has been created, you will receive a ‘Welcome E-mail’ with instructions on how to access your cPanel using your new username and password.
I already have a domain name. How do I point it to my new account?
In order to point your domain at our servers, you should contact (via phone or their website) the company who sold you your domain name, whether it be a web developer or your registrar, and ask them to modify the name servers to reflect the following information:

Will my existing internet website work on your servers?
If your web site is currently hosted on a Unix/Linux based server (as opposed to a WindowNT/2000 server), your web site will most certainly work. There is always the chance that your web site won’t work (specialized programming or other complex works) and if this is the case, we’ll work with you and try to get it running after migration from a Windows Server Solution.
If you have any doubts, we can always take a look at your existing site to determine if it will work on our server. Usually in under 5 minutes we can determine if a web site will work on our servers.
Do you offer internet web design, development, or programming?
Yes. If you find that you might have a need for web design, development, or other internet website programming needs, then you are most welcome to visit our Home Page to learn more about what we do.
Do you offer a 30 day money back guarantee?
Yes, if you are not satisfied for any reason with the service provided by ReddWebDev Internet Web Hosting during the first 30 days, we will refund your hosting charges (excluding any hosting setup fees and domain registration fees — if any).
Can I use .htaccess files?
Yes, you can set up .htaccess files for redirection, password protection, and general server overrides. Be warned that if you use MS FrontPage, it’s recommended that you do not alter the .htaccess file that FrontPage uploads.
Do you offer a server control panel?
Yes, we offer the extremely popular cPanel. cPanel enables you to control nearly every aspect of your account: set up new email address, create and administer MySQL Databases, view your site’s statistics, create a backup of your web site, upload files, view your current resource allocation, and much more.
Can I use your outgoing mail server?
Every hosting plan enables you to use our SMTP server to send outgoing email. This is helpful if your current ISP does not allow you to send outgoing email through port 25 filtering using your own domain name. You can also send email from the server using Sendmail and via our web mail application. Please keep in mind that abuse of our SMTP servers is grounds for immediate termination of your accounts, and could lead to legal action. Please review our Acceptable Use Policy for our zero-tolerance policy on the sending of unsolicited email.
Can I install and run CGI Scripts?
Yes, every account comes with a personalized cgi-bin directory, where you can upload and run CGI or Perl scripts. ReddWebDev Internet Web Hosting reserves the right to disable user scripts that may be putting a strain on the server’s resources.
